My Multidisciplinary Role in the Studio
Hello, my name is Steve Hanson! I am a producer/singer/songwriter/artist in St Paul, Mn. I Produce, Write and Mix music for independent artists, including my own artist career. My work has been featured in several venues, including weddings, anniversaries, bdays and podcasts, and voice-over work. The genres I am most familiar with are pop rock, pop alt, and singer-songwriter. I enjoy collaborating with other artists and making their music come to life. I have done some vocal work with Arctic Bird Productions, along with my own personal material. My creative process includes breaking down a track that is sent with either a current melody already or someone inquiring about writing the melody.
For every project that I work on, I strive to be a comprehensive artistic partner, helping turn a musician’s raw talent into a finished product that the public will enjoy. I love providing creative suggestions and handling the technical side of the recording. And I am equally happy taking care of logistics, such as the scheduling and budgeting of studio sessions.
